Day 1 Welcome to Armenia

Upon your arrival at Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport, our local representative and vehicle will be waiting outside. After meet and greet, enjoy a comfortable ride to your hotel or preferred location in Yerevan. Check in to the hotel and free time to relax.
During the tour, you will explore several iconic landmarks of Armenia. Your journey begins at Mother Armenia, a towering statue in Victory Park that symbolizes peace through strength. Next, you will visit the Genocide Complex, Armenia’s official memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, located on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd and built in 1967. The tour continues to the Cascade, a massive stairway connecting the downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. With over 570 steps, the Cascade not only stands as one of the city’s most striking architectural features but also offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Opera House, Swan Lake, and even Mount Ararat on a clear day, along with a rich display of modern art installations. Following this, you will head to Republic Square, renowned for its captivating dancing water fountains near the National Gallery. Finally, for those interested in shopping and local crafts, a stop at Vernissage—a vibrant open-air market—is the perfect way to end the day. Overnight stay in Yerevan.

During the tour, you will discover some of Armenia’s most scenic and culturally rich destinations. Your journey begins at Lake Sevan, it is not only the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region but also one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world, situated at 1,897 meters above sea level, known for its stunning natural beauty. Nearby, you will visit Sevanavank Monastery a 9th-century religious complex built by Princess Mariam in memory of her husband.
The tour then takes you to Tsaghkadzor City, a picturesque spa town and one of Armenia’s most popular winter and health resorts. Nestled in the mountains, it offers a stunning natural landscape throughout the year. While there, you have the option to experience the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway, an arm-chaired lift with five stations that carries you to the mountain peaks, offering breathtaking panoramic views. 
You will also explore the Kecharis Monastery, a beautifully preserved medieval complex that dates from the 11th to 13th centuries.

Today, check out and meet our representative with a vehicle who will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Zvartnots International Airport, ensuring that you will arrive right in time to catch your departure flight.
